FOOTBALL – After the painful defeat at Hollandscheveld, CSVC did a lot better on Saturday. The Saturday third division team took its second point of the season, leaving the orange shirts tied for last place.
Fit Boys is now the only team with one point, from nine matches. CSVC has doubled its season total to 2 points.
CSVC played at home against Dedemsvaart and the game ended as it started: in 0-0.
Tiendeveen loses again
In the 4th class D, VV Tiendeveen also remained scoreless after the first game in 2022. At home, the team lost 2-4 to the number 3 in the standings, WVV from Winschoten.
Still, Tiendeveen was allowed to hope for a stunt, because at halftime it was 2-1 for the home team due to hits from Mitchell van Goor and Dominique Wiffers. For WVV, Kaj Mulder scored the 1-1 in between. After the break, the same Kaj Mulder and Tom Haan (with two hits) made it 2-4.
In this 4th class D, Tiendeveen is not the only club that is still without points. Nieuw Balinge is also still waiting for success, but played one game less than Tiendeveen.
