Second division club FC Schalke 04 has to do without striker Simon Terodde. The Bundesliga relegated team announced on Saturday immediately before the home game against SV Sandhausen (1.30 p.m., in the live ticker on t-online) via Twitter that the second division record scorer would be absent “for the time being” due to a muscle injury. Terodde has scored twelve goals so far this season.
With his twelfth goal of the season in the 1-1 draw against SV Werder Bremen, Terodde replaced Dieter Schatzschneider as the record scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga. The failure will weaken FC Schalke 04 considerably.
