The Bundesliga relegated team announced on Saturday immediately before the home game against SV Sandhausen (1.30 p.m., in the live ticker on t-online) via Twitter that the second division record scorer would be absent “for the time being” due to a muscle injury. Terodde has scored twelve goals so far this season.
With his twelfth goal of the season in the 1-1 draw against SV Werder Bremen, Terodde replaced Dieter Schatzschneider as the record scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga. The failure will weaken FC Schalke 04 considerably.
