Second division soccer club SC Paderborn has committed another offensive player. Barely a week after Max Kruse’s spectacular transfer, the East Westphalian left winger Filip Bilbija took over from league rival Hamburger SV to Pader. The SCP announced this on Friday.
“Filip fits in perfectly with our game philosophy. He runs very well and can be used flexibly on offense. His signing makes us even more variable in the front row,” said Sporting Director Benjamin Weber.
The 23-year-old Bilbija was only a substitute at HSV last season and only played 165 minutes in 16 appearances across all competitions.
