The street blockades of the environmental activists are one thing above all: effective in public. BZ reported on the protests for the fourth time on Monday.
But what the activists actually want to achieve is understanding for the cause – saving food. The action completely misses this goal.

None of the drivers who are stuck in traffic for hours on the way to work will understand. Neither the rescue workers in Steglitz, who were stopped on the way to the hospital, nor the police officers who had to clear the street quickly, will understand. And even less understanding will be the injured person who has desperately had to wait longer than necessary for help.
