Sam Hagens wants to run away from Jaïr Ferwerda: ‘Just come over!’

Sam Hagens wanted to run away yesterday when fellow reporter Jaïr Ferwerda stormed at him at the EenVandaag debate. He stood there chatting with his famous father Pieter Jan.

Jaïr Ferwerda’s interest was immediately aroused when he saw a well-known father and son behind the scenes at the EenVandaag election debate yesterday. The presenter of the debate, Pieter Jan Hagens, was chatting with his son Sam Hagens, the presenter of HLF8. “I think this is a very nice shot!”

Sam flees

When Jaïr storms towards the two with the camera rolling, he shouts: “Father and son here together. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Sam! Sam, just come over! I just want a review, I just want a review from the son about dad.”

Sam initially tries to flee for a while, but then still remains standing, as can be seen in the Jinek item. “I think he did a very good job,” replies the TV talent.

Jair: “Yes?”

Sam: “Yes, yes.”

Clear debate

Jaïr then to Pieter Jan: “And what do you think of Pieter Jan yourself?”

Pieter Jan: “Yes, tell me! Yes, I also think I am doing very well… No! I think it was a clear debate.”

Why Sam wanted to flee from Jaïr is unclear, although he sees up close that the label ‘fake baby’ does not make you happy. His HLF8 colleague Noa Vahle is reminded time and time again of her famous mother Linda de Mol, while many people don’t know that Sam also has a famous father.

TV dream

Just like with Noa, things went very fast with Sam. He is now a talk show host, but six years ago he hoped to become a reporter at RTL Nieuws, where he worked at the time.

His father Pieter Jan at the time: “Sam is now with RTL Nieuws and his dream is to become a reporter there. It is interesting to follow how those two (Sam and his daughter, ed.) handle it, I am on top of it and hear good things about them.”

On the stool

It was recently announced that SBS 6 will stop with HLF8. That means that Sam sees his job as a talk show host go up in smoke and he will have to be satisfied with his work as a reporter for Hart van Nederland.

Sam will also regularly appear on the stool again at Today Inside, despite the fact that Johan Derksen does not really like him. Tonight he’s on that program again, for the first time in a long time.
