Sabu group: AW22 color trends for shoes

The Sabu Group has published a color forecast for the shoe trade in the coming autumn/winter season. The forecast was made by the purchasing team of the Sabu Group on the basis of sightings of the upcoming autumn/winter collections from various shoe retailers and general fashion trends. The colors were divided into women’s and men’s shoes and listed by percentage.

Black is in first place with 35 percent for both women’s and men’s shoes.

For women, light, muted colors such as beige, taupe and off-white follow in second place. Various shades of grey, brown and green, such as pebbles, cognac and khaki, are in the middle with 10 percent each. Strong, warm colors such as red, bordeaux and curry follow in the forecast for women.

For men, brown and cognac share second place with a combined share of 25 percent. Mud tones, such as gray, pebbles and taupe, as well as blue are in the middle range at 15 percent each. Olive and other shades of green make up five percent. The remaining five percent goes to white and other colors.
