Russian S-400s take up combat duty in Belarus

Russian crews of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) took up combat duty at the training ground in the Brest region as part of the joint exercises of Russia and Belarus, reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

The military worked out the deployment of military equipment in positions, after which they will perform tasks to control the airspace in the established area of ​​​​responsibility.

The joint military exercises of Russia and Belarus “Allied Resolve-2022” began on February 10 and will last ten days. During them, the servicemen will work out the fight against terrorism and repulse an attack from outside, the Ministry of Defense reported.

The department does not disclose the number of military and equipment hosts in the exercises, but insists that it does not exceed the mark required for notification, determined by the Vienna Document 2011.
