Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin gave instructions solve the problem with flooded ships in August 2020 following a trip to the Far East. It applies to all ships sunk in the waters of the Far Eastern Federal District: 580 of them were found there, 235 of them must be raised and disposed of in the first place. But a few months later, the Ministry of Transport reported that it had not found the money to raise and salvage ships that sank in Nagaev Bay.
