As soon as his exit from his current role at Inter, of which he is managing director of the corporate area, is formalised, the manager will be announced by the Giallorossi
Roma has chosen the new CEO. It will be Alessandro Antonello, Inter’s current corporate CEO, who will take over the legacy of Lina Souloukou who resigned last September following the protests following De Rossi’s dismissal. At this point we are only waiting for the formalization of the separation with the Nerazzurri, then – barring sensational surprises – the signing with Roma will arrive in the next few days. Antonello, spotted in the capital in recent weeks, is ready for this new adventure after having given his contribution to Inter especially in the commercial and brand development aspects as well as the stadium issue. Issues very close to the hearts of the Giallorossi club.
the choice

The Friedkins know Antonello well because in 2021 he joined the ECA (European Club Association) and the number 1 of the organization is Al-Khelaifi – owner of PSG who has been in close contact with Dan Friedkin since 2020 (not surprisingly elected vice president of the ECA). Antonello graduated in Economics and Finance from the University of Bergamo and entered the world of football in 2011 as financial director of Puma Italia. The choice came at the end of long consultations which also saw Claudio Fenucci and Marzio Perrelli in the running. In the end the decision fell on Antonello, also on the basis of the experience gained in recent years in a top club like Inter alongside Beppe Marotta.
