Roosendaal is startled by a series of robberies, which are probably committed by the same perpetrator. A man struck in two weeks at a tobacconist and two gas stations. He fired shots in all three robberies.
The most recent robbery happened on Saturday at a gas station on Antwerpseweg. The footage shows the robber running in and jumping over the counter. He falls and at that moment his gun goes off. The man then aims his gun at the visibly shaken employee, takes money from the cash register and runs away. Police later found a bullet hole.
The other two robberies happened on November 16 at a tobacco shop on Kroevenlaan and on November 21 at a petrol station on Vijfhuizenberg. The booty was always modest. The robber took some cash and cigarettes with him.
Because all three robberies involved shooting and threats with a firearm, the police are concerned. Images were therefore shown in the Bureau Brabant program on Monday evening. People with tips can contact the police.
