It is insane that John de Mol has decided to bring Rob Geus back to television, says Johan Derksen, Talpa’s biggest star. “It’s a mockery. He’s a village idiot!”
Rob Geus is going to make another hygiene program for SBS 6, this time produced by John van den Heuvel, also known from the Gordon soap. The duo’s working method has been quite questionable so far: Rob has made recordings in a sauna, while that is prohibited, and has offered the manager to collaborate.
Son of a bitch
Johan Derksen has been critical of this, which in turn leads to an angry Rob Geus. “I really thought: bastard, what are you doing to me? Those are the nasty things in the profession,” the fallen judge shouted in the newspaper.
Johan in his podcast Greetings from Grolloo: “Well, that’s easy, anyone can be angry with me, and I don’t take that man seriously at all. In fact, I think he’s a very annoying string bean.”
Forbidden
Johan learned about the sauna incident during the recording of John de Bever’s sauna podcast at that location. “I happened to be with the director of that sauna and there were signs everywhere: ‘No filming.’ They do this to protect their customers there, because they all walk around naked.”
“Rob Geus ignored that, registered under a false name and walked around there in a dressing gown with a camera under his coat and made film recordings. He found a bench where something was not clean. Then the director called him to say that it is forbidden to enter under a false name.”
Nice ending
Moreover, you are not allowed to film in a sauna, Johan continues. “Because that is very annoying for visitors to that sauna, because they think: yes, I will not go there anymore, because filming is taking place there.”
What did Rob then answer? “Rob Geus then said: ‘We can make a nice end to it, because I work with a cleaning company and they will clean everything completely.’”
Village idiot
Very doubtful, according to Johan. “He now pretends that I said that he secretly filmed naked people. Absolutely not, there is no question of that, but the fact that you film in a sauna is already prohibited. So he has not adhered to the rules.”
He concludes: “I don’t think we should really worry about a village idiot who really makes shitty TV and pulls off cooling strips everywhere and thinks they’re all too dirty. I think it’s nonsense and I think it’s a mockery that Talpa still makes a program with such a man.”
