The long wait has come to an end, as music and fashion superstar Rihanna has finally released new music. Six years have already passed since the last publication. The previous album, Anti, was released in 2016.

Fans around the world got their hopes up for Rihanna’s comeback earlier this fall when she announced she would be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The song released today, Lift Me Up is coming to cinemas in November Black Panther – the movie Wakanda Forever from the disc.

The song is by Rihanna, Temsin, by Ludwig Göransson and the director Ryan Cooglerin collaboration, and is dedicated to the late Black Panther star, Chadwick Bosemanille.

Boseman starred in the first part of the film in the lead role. He died in 2020 of colon cancer.

The song has been recorded in five different countries. One of the creators of the song, Tems from Nigeria, has characterized the song as a tribute to the deceased.

– I tried to imagine what it would be like to sing for those I have lost in my life. Tell them how much I miss them, Tems told about his thoughts behind the song.
