Salerno (dpa) – Franck Ribéry has resumed individual training after a corona infection.
The 38-year-old former Bayern star wrote on Twitter that he had unfortunately been stopped by Covid-19 in the past few days and weeks, “which was very difficult”.
But he is doing better and better, wrote the Frenchman, who now plays for the Italian first division club US Salernitana 1919. The newly promoted and crisis club is bottom of the table in Serie A.
According to Ribéry, he has been training for himself since this week. He hopes to be back on the pitch soon. Ribéry did not give any further details about his infection with the corona virus.
