Research points to very harmful consequences of cannabis use during pregnancy

Cannabis use during pregnancy is linked to serious health risks for both mother and child. According to a new meta-analysis, published in ‘Jama Pediatrics’, the use of cannabis considerably increases the risk of premature births, a low birth weight and perinatal mortality. The study analyzed 51 studies with more than 21 million participants.
