Relatives turned to law enforcement agencies when the former Deputy Minister of Justice did not return home by nightfall.
“The investigating authorities of the city of Odintsovo received information that while driving an ATV and moving along a frozen river, a local resident, along with a vehicle, went under the ice. On this fact, the investigating authorities of the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region are conducting a pre-investigation check,” – Olga Vradiy, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, said.
Due to the fast current and muddy water, the search is much more complicated, so they decided to change the strategy: the bottom is not examined by divers. Rescuers drill holes and then inspect the bottom with a submersible camera.
“At the moment, more than 400 squares of the water area have been surveyed, about 25 personnel are involved, about six pieces of equipment, but the group is constantly growing,” said Sergey Teplenin, head of the diving service of the Mosoblpozhspas.
And near Mytishchi, employees of the Ministry of Ecology switched to an enhanced raid regime. There, along the Moscow Canal, dozens of ATVs and snowmobiles cut through: here they are rented out.
Now the rental point lacks about 10 snowmobiles. At the same time, a very interesting story unfolded: every hour, when the rental time ends, people come out of the forest – impassable and clearly not intended for walking.
– How do you like a walk in the forest?
– Great, it’s very beautiful.
– Very nice, yes. Why did you leave the quad there?
– I’m not on a quad at all.
The inspectors are sure that this is just a way to avoid fines in case of an inspection. Transport is dangerous. Requires special skills and permissions. But no one here wants to explain.
– Do you rent out here?
– Not.
– But the locals say what exactly you rent out.
– And I say that it’s the locals who rent it!
But local residents are unlikely to be mistaken: they know the cause of their problems for sure. With the opening of the rental, it became difficult to live here.
– The rumble is such that it is impossible to talk, 100 meters from them the smell is the most terrible from exhaust gases. They are worn all the time. It is impossible to walk: you will simply be demolished, knocked down.
Snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles – equipment for every taste and skill level. True, no one checks them. When renting, they won’t even ask for the right.
They check employees and drivers on their own ATVs and snowmobiles. And right away – a perfect hit. The reckless driver does not have a single required document.

A fine of up to a thousand rubles does not really bother reckless drivers. They are willing to pay much more for a rental. And they continue to risk – someone else’s life and their own.
