Promoted VfB Lübeck has strengthened the coaching team for the season in the 3rd division. Prominent access is ex-professional Bastian Reinhardt, who will assist head coach Lukas Pfeiffer in the future. The 47-year-old is leaving the HSV youth team after eight years, until the end he was in charge of the U16s.
Arvid Schenk is also coming from HSV, he will be the new goalkeeping coach. The 33-year-old held the same role in Hamburg’s second team and was also responsible for goalkeeper coordination in the youth academy.
