At the end of the season
Coach Oliver Reck and the regional league club SSV Jeddeloh II part ways at the end of the season. The former German national goalkeeper coached the Lower Saxony team for two and a half years, with whom he was always able to achieve the goal of staying up in the league. In 38 games to date, Reck has scored an average of 1.32 points with the SSV.
“We would like to thank Olli for his great commitment here in Jeddeloh II. He guided us safely through the difficult Corona period, for which we are very grateful to him. Both sides now have an early opportunity to reorient themselves. We wish him all the best on his personal and sporting path,” said Sport Director Ansgar Schnabel. “However, it is still too early to say goodbye. We still have six games together, which we are really looking forward to and which we definitely want to play in a positive way.”
Reck added: “In the two and a half years I’ve achieved my goals with the club. We faced the challenge of staying up in the league every season and mastered this task together. We will be able to do this again this year. My goal is to continue to work under professional conditions.”
