Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Alexander Abelin, Assistant Secretary of the Russian Security Council, should from a document published on the portal of legal information.

“To release Abelin Alexander Pavlovich from the post of Assistant Secretary of the Security Council,” – said in the decree of the head of state. The reason for the dismissal is unknown.

Abeline took this post in December 2016. Prior to that, he was an employee of the expert department of the President of Russia for 12 years. From the 1990s to 2004, he worked in the Ministry of Economy of Russia, in the economic administration of the head of state and in the government apparatus. Abelin began his career at the State Planning Committee of the RSFSR.
