PrettyLittleThing has filled two leadership positions.

Tom Binns has been promoted to chief operating officer and Nicki Capstick to chief marketing officer, PrettyLittleThing (PLT) announced. Both will continue to drive the company forward in their new positions.

Binns will be responsible for product, finance, e-commerce and PLT Tech. He has worked for the fast fashion provider in various positions for about six years, most recently as Commercial Director, according to his profile on the LinkedIn careers network.

Capstick joined PrettyLittleThing from British fast fashion retailer Missguided almost nine years ago, according to her Linkedin profile. She was most recently employed there as Senior Marketing Executive. She started at PrettyLittleThing as Marketing Manager and climbed the career ladder. Since March 2020 she has worked as Marketing Director.

The promotions follow the departure of PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kamani, who stepped down as CEO in mid-April after 12 years with the company.

He secured a majority stake of 66 percent in 2017 and took over the remaining 34 percent in 2020 from Kamani and Paul Papworth, Chief Operating Officer at PrettyLittleThing. Boohoo was co-founded by Mahmud Kamani, father of Umar Kamani.
