In Nijeveen, part of the households was without power on Wednesday afternoon, due to a fire in an electrical box on Dillenweg.
Due to the fire, local residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed because of the smoke.
According to grid operator Enexis, less than a thousand households were affected by the power outage. A few households in Havelterberg were also affected. According to the grid operator, the power outage was completely resolved by 6.45 pm.
