Alejandro Fantino reignited the political debate from his program with a series of predictions that, according to him, are not information, although all his followers know that when the host clarifies that, it is usually “quite the opposite.” In his characteristic style of provocative speculation, the journalist spoke of an eventual constitutional reform, dollarization and a political pact between Javier Milei and Cristina Kirchner.

“What if we are in the presence of beginning to work on a political pact? A format of six years of presidency, constitutional reform and reform of the Supreme Court,” Fantino launched during his program, in a phrase that shook the networks.

According to the host, the Government could be evaluating a profound change in the country’s institutional rules. “They want to retire Cristina from Peronism, so the only thing left would be to build a bridge with the Government to negotiate stretching the Supreme Court. In exchange for dollarization, which must go through a constitutional reform. Do you remember how long the presidential terms lasted? Six years,” he warned.

Fantino assured that Milei is pragmatic and that he could surprise with unthought-of decisions: “In this shitty country there is a phrase that is decadent that says ‘I resist an archive’. Pragmatism is what should prevail. If Javier believes that we must dollarize and we must change the Constitution… I don’t know. What if a reform of the Constitution comes with a six-year period of presidency?” he stated.

The host, who usually combines politics and entertainment, also referred to the tensions between the ruling party and the Peronist opposition, and hinted that the supposed Milei-CFK alliance could emerge from an agreement of convenience: dollarization in exchange for judicial guarantees and a reformed Court.

Fantino’s statements, which mix analysis and conjecture, once again installed his name at the center of the political debate. His hypotheses, between provocation and intuition, reflect the climate of uncertainty and speculation that permeates Argentine politics in a scenario of profound changes.
