Motorists are only allowed to stop on the hard shoulder in the event of an emergency or breakdown. No doubt this man also thought he had an ’emergency’, but the police thought otherwise.
“However great the need is, we don’t think this is a reason to be on the hard shoulder while watching a ‘nature film’,” the police wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a photo of the man’s statement.
It is not clear whether the ‘nature film lover’ has been fined for his adventure on the hard shoulder. The police also do not describe where the event took place. But one thing is clear: the man had to watch his exciting nature film in a different place.
