“If the fool does it, we will pay him handsomely,” think Ryanair’s shareholders. And so Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary can win a jackpot of 100 million euros if the share price continues to rise. Even though its pilots are on strike and the Ryanair traveler feels squeezed out. How common are such high bonuses among CEOs? And isn’t this going too far?
