RTL program director, Peter van der Vorst, called it “painful” on Friday evening in the talk show Beau that the channel was not informed of the transgressive behavior behind the scenes at The Voice. Even when RTL specifically asked producer ITV whether there was anything they needed to know, nothing was said, according to Van der Vorst.
