Peek & Cloppenburg is coming back to Belgium.

The Düsseldorf fashion retailer is opening a new store in the Westland Shopping Center in Anderlecht near Brussels, according to AG Real Estate, the operator of the shopping centre. At the new location, Peek & Cloppenburg offers a range of clothing, shoes and accessories for women and men. The sales area is more than 4000 square meters and is spread over two floors.

“We look forward to being back in Belgium in autumn 2022. The renewed Westland shopping center in Anderlecht is a great opportunity to attract new customers to Peek & Cloppenburg,” said Stephan Fanderl, Member of the Management Board at Peek & Cloppenburg.

Peek & Cloppenburg was already active in Belgium before the store opened in Anderlecht, reports the Belgian news platform Retail Detail. However, the last store in Antwerp was closed in 2019.

The retailer already announced at the end of December Expansion plans for 2022 known. In addition to the new Belgian store, new branches are also to be opened in Gießen and Weil am Rhein as well as in Prague.

Westland Shopping Center is being remodeled

Since 2019, the Westland Shopping Center shopping center has been undergoing a phase of refurbishment, during which it will undergo a technical and aesthetic renovation. It was also enlarged with two extensions to an area of ​​more than 50,000 square meters.
