Inspired by Peak Performance’s own archives dating back to 1992, the FW22/23 Casual Collection focuses on the reintroduction of products that were part of the range thirty years ago, reviving the brand’s heritage.
The Peak Performance Casual collection builds on its heritage of high quality and timeless design and focuses on sustainable and durable products. The vision of the brand is to produce exclusively recyclable products by 2030 and to create products that last a lifetime and thus contribute to reduced consumption.
Another important theme for this season is the materials and textures of outerwear. Peak Performance modernizes the current models and increases their functionality by building on existing features instead of creating new ones.
The 2L Down Parka for men and women is the ideal style for cold winter days. It has been updated with smart details to make it even more functional: an outer pocket, an adjustable hood and buttons on the front that are easy to use even with gloves. The parka consists of a durable, two-layer, water-repellent membrane fabric. The down is sustainably sourced and the jacket is spin-dyed – an environmentally friendly dyeing process that uses significantly less water than other techniques.
The GORE-TEX Padded Jacket for men was developed for a sportier and more active lifestyle and is therefore fully taped and waterproof. The jacket is similar to the line’s unique wool shirts and is made from a similar-looking material. The silhouette has been shortened to create both a more stylish and functional design.
For women, the Down Hood Parka is the highlight of the season in a new, lighter weight recycled material. Thanks to the use of ethically sourced down, it keeps you warm when you need it most and offers a comfortable fit and an adjustable waist for a feminine silhouette. A special concept this winter is the ‘Folklore Pattern’ capsule collection, inspired by the brand’s roots in northern Sweden. The source of inspiration for the characteristic pattern, which runs through the entire line, is Swedish craftsmanship and old symbols from the north. The result is a unique pattern that is reminiscent of earlier collections and yet reflects a modern interpretation in the models of the FW22/23 collection, including the Kelly Wool Shirt, the Wool Half Zip Hood, the Fleece Cap and the Headband.
