Original DIY Christmas tree ideas
Those who love like originality and inventiveness even when it comes to tradition (regardless of the final result), will be inspired by the craziest ideas found on the net for decidedly unconventional Christmas trees.
There are record trees, like that built completely with Lego to the Legoland Windsor Resort in Berkshire, UK (above). More than 10 meters tall, made up of 364,481 colored bricks, it surpassed the version made in San Diego in 2014.
Particular Christmas trees
Or like that of realized a Cutro, in the province of Crotone, assembling thousands of colored wool tile crocheted for a whole year by thirty women of the Proloco. The tree reaches a height of 12.80 and reaches 14.20 meters with the star fixed on the tip, according to the organizers it would enter the Guinness Book of Records by right.
More modest but worthy of attention for their originality, the trees made with foods to sponsor a shop or a typical product of a city, but also the one made with test tubes in a laboratory, or with latex gloves in a doctor’s office. The one built is viral stacking tires huge, or shopping carts and even walkers and pallets.
Alternative Christmas trees
In Beinette, a Piedmontese village in the province of Cuneo, 107 farmers have created a temporary Christmas tree turning on the lights of their tractors and illuminating the night of December 13 (photo below). The initiative, applauded by the mayor of the town Lorenzo Busciglio, was designed for 2020, but was postponed due to the lockdown.
Then there are trees designed with the specific purpose of convey a message, such as those made using garbage bags or plastic bottles to raise awareness of recycling and respect for the environment.
