Over 50 miners evacuated from Komsomolets mine in Kuzbass

More than 50 miners were evacuated from the Komsomolets mine in the city of Leninsk-Kuznetsky in the Kemerovo region, the work of the mine was suspended. This is reported TASS and “RIA News” with reference to sources in emergency services.

According to the agencies, the evacuation began due to the shutdown of the main ventilation fan of the mine. At the time of the incident, there were 56 people in the mine, no one was injured.

In the press service of the Governor of the Kemerovo region Sergey Tsivilev reported “Izvestia” that later the ventilation fan of the mine was launched, and the mine itself resumed normal operation.
