Osman opens this new lunchroom in De Leyens shopping center

For a long time, the former building of the flower shop Bloem Formula in the De Leyens shopping center stood empty. In October last year we informed you that Picco Bello would open its doors before the end of 2021. This ultimately did not happen, but lunchroom Baran is now there.

Osram, together with his son Okan, is the new owner of Baran. His brother owns restaurant Baran in the Rokkeveen shopping center. “Our cousin planned to open Picco Bello pizzeria here. He refused to allow this property to remain vacant for a long time. Together with my son I decided to open a second Baran branch here.”

Also deliver at home later

Osram improved things up: “Everything is new,” he explains. “All equipment, the counter and the restaurant area. I wanted to make it a cozy sitting area with attractive wallpaper and beautiful tables and chairs. Everyone is welcome to eat here or to take away food. Later I will also deliver meals at home. The permit for a small terrace has been applied for.”

student discount

At Baran in the De Leyens shopping center you can enjoy freshly prepared Turkish pizzas, wraps, hairdressing salon, sandwiches, lentil soup, grill dishes and other specialties. Osram wants to offer a student discount after the summer holidays. “The students of the Alfrink College regularly come to the shopping center. I want to adjust my prices for them so that they can still order a nice meal. Think of a free drink with the purchase of a meal or another nice discount.”
