Bauke Mollema: ‘Winning at 98 percent is possible, but at Alpe d’Huez you have to be 100 percent’ | Tour de France

Traditional coffee rounds on the rest day are not for Bauke Mollema. “I did that once. Cycling outside for two hours or even longer. Many young riders with us do a round of one and a half hours, but then you cycle so calmly. I prefer to go on the rollers for half an hour and then continue for five minutes. That all the sweat really comes out. That’s enough. Definitely don’t do too much.”
