M.have we really entered 2022? In front of the announcement that some Regions from Monday 17 January almost certainly they will turn orange again and which, in the following weeks, could also pass into the red zone catapult us in the past. Unfortunately, the contagiousness of Omicron that’s it.
Orange zone: 8 Regions at risk
At risk, due to the breach of the reference parameters, there are five: Piedmont, Calabria, Liguria, Sicily and Valle d’Aosta.
In the balance, however, there are also Veneto, Lombardy and Lazio.
The parameters for the pass
The parameters for the passage in the orange zone are: a occupancy rate of the beds by Covid patients 20% in intensive care and 30% in the medical area in hospitals. A weekly incidence equal to 150 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.
What changes concretely for citizens
New context, new and different restrictions even if a Region changes to orange. The substantial novelty is the reinforced green pass.
Indeed, the bans imposed will not affect who owns it, i.e. vaccinated and cured, but only unvaccinated subjects.
The restrictions of the orange zone
For those who do not have the reinforced green pass, the travel with your own vehicle to other municipalities of the same Region or to other Regions are allowed only for work, necessity, health or for services that are not available in your municipality (and in this case self-certification is required).
They remain permitted on the other hand, travel from municipalities with a maximum of 5,000 inhabitants to other municipalities within 30 km, except towards the provincial capital.
Access is prohibited in counter bars and restaurants, even in outdoor areas. Barred from entering swimming pools, gyms, after-ceremony parties, cultural and recreational centers, even if they are outdoors.
Access to the cinemas, theaters and museums nor at sports events and competitions in stadiums and arenas.
It is also forbidden to enter the shops inside the shopping centers on holidays and the day before holidays (except foodstuffs, newsstands, bookstores, pharmacies, tobacconists). And, again, stop practicing outdoor contact sports.
Finally, to participate in tests of public competition in presence, it will be necessary to have at least the basic certification, obtainable with a swab.
