One of the last detainees has been released from Guantánamo prison. Assadullah Harun Gul will return to his family after years of captivity at the US military base in Cuba’s Guantanamo Bay, the spokesman for the Afghan Taliban government said on Friday. His lawyer confirmed his release to the German news agency dpa.
