Linkin Park are opening a pop-up store with FC Bayern Munich for the Allianz Arena tour. Limited collection from June 10th to 13th at Arnulfstrasse 195 – also available in the stadium.
In Hamburg there are fish sandwiches and in Munich FC Bayern rules. Linkin Park will end their trip to Germany on June 11th and 12th at the Allianz Arena in Munich. After the band opened their own pop-up with local products at every tour stop, there was also a lot of speculation about Munich. What will there be in the “best” federal state in the world? If Markus Söder had his way, probably a lot of meat – whether pork knuckle or liver loaf roll, the selection is large. However, anyone who was looking forward to something tasty will be disappointed: there is – drum roll – a cooperation with FC Bayern Munich.
Limited collection: pop-up store on Arnulfstrasse
From June 10th to 13th, fans of the German champions can secure a limited collection at Arnulfstrasse 195 in Munich. The pop-up store is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you can’t make it to the pop-up before the concert, you can also purchase selected designs at the stadium. While the first 100 fish sandwiches were free in Hamburg, Munich’s chic crowd is apparently considered wealthy enough to be able to afford the jerseys themselves. More detailed information about the prices is not yet known – but with parking fees of €20 around the concert, FC Bayern is likely to cost a lot for the cooperation here too.
We can only hope that no 1860 Munich fan gets lost in the concert and watches their rival being happily celebrated on stage while they themselves have to digest the forced relegation to the regional league. Sometimes everything just comes together.
Supporting acts, festival stops and a fitting conclusion
As in Hamburg, the concert will be introduced by the opening bands Phantogram and Clipse. Before that, the band will make a short detour to Rock am Ring and Rock im Park on June 5th and 7th – there they will soak up some festival mud before moving on to the federal state that is simply known as “Germany” in the rest of the world. Who knows, maybe Mike Shinoda will appear with lederhosen and a Bayern jersey. And even if there are no Linkin Park pork knuckles this time, one thing is certain: it will be a fitting end to your stay in Germany.
