One of the first Berlin pharmacists vaccinates here

He practiced with an orange during a training course and with a colleague with a saline solution. Tarik El-Dessouki (48) is one of the first Berlin pharmacists who are now also vaccinating against Corona.

The pharmacist had a container set up in front of his pharmacy on Wilmersdorfer Strasse, right next to the one for testing. It is not permitted in the middle of the customers in the shop.

He wants to vaccinate there during business hours, and initially got 40 bottles with 200 doses of Biontech. This amount must be used up within one month.

Five customers came in the first three hours on Tuesday. Jenny Wiegand (41) works around the corner and was happy about the short distance. “I live in Elstal,” said the freshly boosted girl.

“I want to help increase the vaccination rate,” explains El-Dessouki. He is reimbursed 28 euros per spade for labor and consumables.
