The cross-country skiing world cup continues with the sprint races in Tallinn.

The skiers compete in the Laululava terrain, where the track is 750 meters long. At the beginning there is a rise and after that a fast descent begins.

The track is made for artificial snow.

Sweden’s Jonna Sundling was the fastest in women’s qualifying.

From the Finns, Jasmi Joensuu, Kerttu Niskanen, and advanced from the qualifying stage Jasmin Kähärä. Joensuu in particular was at a good pace, as the Finn was sixth in qualifying. Niskanen is still fighting for the top places in the World Cup overall and the distance cup. Niskanen is third in the overall competition.
