Omikron has not (yet) succeeded in completely wiping delta from the tables in our country: “This is a surprise”

Although models by biostatisticians predicted in mid-December that the omikron variant would possibly account for 90 percent of all infections in our country before the end of the year, this appears not to have happened. The delta variant still manages to – to some extent – persist and that could have an impact on our health care. Dirk Ramaekers of the Vaccination Taskforce said this during a briefing on Saturday morning.
