Here are the day’s appointments with the Italian athletes at the Milan Cortina Winter Games
Another tile to add to the story. Arianna Fontana will return to the ice today in search of her 15th Olympic medal. He will try in the 1500 short track and it would be the fourth of this edition of the Winter Games. We start in the morning with Jole Galli in the women’s freestyle ski cross. It will then be the turn of the biathlon in the men’s mass start with Tommaso Giacomel. In the women’s 1500 speed skating, Francesca Lollobrigida – despite having declared that she has no podium ambitions – could complete a golden hat-trick (1500, 3000 and 5000). In the evening it will be the turn of the short track, first with the men’s relay in the final with Canada, South Korea and the Netherlands. Grand finale – as mentioned – with Fontana and the other two Italians in the quarterfinals, Elisa Confortola and Arianna Sighel.
