Former World Cup bronze medalist Vincent Zhou (USA) missed the men’s competition at the Olympic figure skating competitions in Beijing due to a corona infection.
The 21-year-old confirmed his exit on his Instagram profile before the start of the competition on Tuesday.
Zhou had already won silver with the US team in Beijing. The former junior world champion finished sixth at his Olympic debut in Pyeongchang in 2018.
