National coach Jeroen Otter has selected Rianne de Vries for the last individual short track event in Beijing.

BEIJING – Rianne de Vries has been at the top of the short track in the Netherlands for years, but she never competed during the Olympic Games. In Sochi (2014), Pyeongchang (2018) and also last week and a half in Beijing, she was passed by national coach Jeroen Otter. Now there is redemption. The 31-year-old Friezin can compete in the 1500 meters on Wednesday. A reward for the European champion of 2017. And that’s how it feels for De Vries.
