Oasis’s reunion tour is still in full swing, but guitarist Paul Arthurs has forced to give up his place on stage now that cancer has been established again.

Prostate and throat almond cancer Paul Arthurs
Paul made the bad news publicly via social media: “At the beginning of this year, prostate cancer was diagnosed. After a first successful treatment I was able to play a few shows, but now a new phase will follow. I have to take a break for my treatment, which means I will have to miss the concerts in Seoul, Tokio, Melbourne and Sydney.”
Three years ago he already suffered from throat almond cancer, but after a few months of treatment he was declared healed. That is why he now remains hopeful to fully recover. “The treatment of the past months went well. I feel good and will be fit again for the shows in South America. We will see each other on stage again in November with the band.”
Reconciler
Arthurs, already involved with Oasis since the 90s, was considered one of the people who succeeded last year to reconcile the arguing brothers Liam (53) and Noel Gallagher (58).
The Gallagher brothers responded to the news via the Socials and support Paul in his recovery. “We wish you all the best with your treatment. We’ll see you again on stage in South America,” it sounds.
