News | The girl from Oslo

★★★★ The daughter of a Norwegian diplomat is kidnapped in Sinai by a terrorist group linked to Hamas. What that girl is doing there is a mystery that is quickly revealed: she is looking for her real father. He is a very high-ranking member of the Israeli government, from the right, for more information. So here there is soap opera, international politics, thriller, espionage and a long etcetera. What makes the cocktail attractive is that all these branches, which in a certain sense seem to go in opposite directions, complement each other in a necessary way. The series alternates various points of view (the guilty mother, the conflicted father, the real father even more conflicted, the girl trying to survive, the politicians and spies who do not know which side they are on) and does not provide easy solutions, even if the plot has a clear and logical output, satisfactory in every way.
