When the pandemic began, it was one of the first ventures to squeeze the new modality of “home deliveries”, under its slogan “We are hugs from a distance”, which was a success among its clients.

“With Snack Time Box, we managed to bring a little light with a proposal that meant much more than a gift, in the most painful stage of the quarantine, where few were allowed to circulate or visit their relatives. Our boxes are a love for the soul, an I love you and a hug from a distance to shorten kilometers and bring families closer”, reflects Yamila.

Gisela and Yamila are the partners behind the magic. Gisela has been a pastry chef for more than 10 years, but she always emotionally remembers her beginnings, where she would go out with her baby to the street, and she would not return until she sold all the pre-pizzas that she kneaded. “It’s very special for me to see myself inside this project,” she says. For her part, Yamila dedicated herself to organizing events for 8 years, with another project that she founded when she was 18 years old. Although both already worked together in the field, everything arose in a pandemic. Like many entrepreneurs, their jobs were canceled, the accounts began to accumulate and there was no income to pay them. “From one day to the next, all the events fell apart and any type of celebration was no longer allowed. The events sector was one of the most affected, it is still very hurt”, says Yamila. “We reinvented ourselves and went from making two-tier cakes for 50 people, to pastry for families of 4 members, which was quite a challenge.”

Regarding the original pastry that they offer to the public, they highlight: Our star product, which is a trend for any occasion, are cookie donuts, giant donut-shaped cookies, which are filled and themed with whatever the customer asks for. They are great. We also offer everything from personalized breakfasts and boxes of sweets, to corporate gifts or gifts with special restrictions, such as options for celiacs, veggies and vegans, at Snack Time Box you can find the ideal gift for any occasion”.

As a result of the impact achieved by their clients, they reflect: “In this year and a half, the growth of the brand, and the response of the people was incredible, the business never stopped growing. We are very proud, and at the same time so grateful for the support of the clients. We want to reach every house and that giving gifts is not a problem, but something cute and fun. To be a fast and effective solution. For this reason, we also have our website, where the gifts are 100% customizable, but in five minutes you resolve the purchase, the shipment, you pay, and you even choose what time it will arrive”. And they add: “We have many national and foreign clients, and some of our portfolios include Twitter, Disney, Hard & Rock Hotel, Johnson & Johnson, LATAM, Mary Kay, Philips Avent, among others, as well as advertising agencies and many computer companies. . We also have private clients who hire us from abroad to send them to their relatives who live in Argentina, because we accept international payments”, they explain.

“Behind the brand there is a whole team of people working hard. We met incredible people, and each of them contribute their value. From Vicky who is in charge of all the pastry without TACC, to avoid cross-contamination, with an art for the icing cookies, to Sam who prepares the entire assembly, or Lucas who is in charge of logistics. With the demand, the team gets bigger every day, and now Noe and Caro have joined,” they concluded.
