The self-proclaimed “rabble-monster” again gave verbal slaps. This time in his newly released single “Schellenesperanto (feat. Tombs Beats)”. Here, too, the Rostock-born and Berliner-by-choice mob MC finds clear words and expresses his social frustration in the form of a “bell competition”. “Schellenesperanto” is the third pre-single from his EP BACKPFEIFE ON ENDLESSSCHLEIFE, which has been announced for February 11, 2022.

What does “Schellenesperanto” mean? It’s not a fancy word. The title is intended to convey the mob MC’s ironic view of converting bells into language. The bell metaphor is intended to shake up all those who can no longer be reached with words. Pöbel MC lets his displeasure run free and directs it against Eso-Schwurbler-hippies, fascists, heads of state, homophobes and climate deniers.
Pöbel MC had catapulted themselves into the wider attention of the rap scene last year with their album BILDUNGSBÜRGERPROLLS. Among his fans, he is characterized above all by his adolescent hedonism and his self-deprecating attitude. His style lies somewhere between sophisticated lyricism and a certain amount of cheekiness. If you want to see the rapper in action, you should go to one of his concerts scheduled for this year. Shows are planned in Hamburg, Berlin, Rostock and Bremen, among others.
