New platform to buy or sell second-hand furniture and vintage design | LIVING.

Live. The Dutch Reliving, a platform with a selected range of second-hand furniture, deco and vintage design, is crossing the border and is now also active in our country. “It is estimated that 60 million pieces of furniture are thrown away every year in Europe. We also want to do something about this in Belgium, because ‘cast-offs’ deserve a better home than the mountain of waste.”

Reliving was founded three years ago. The website now has 14,000 items — from mirrors and carpets to cabinets and armchairs — and now wants to expand that range considerably with Belgian items. Sellers can easily offer these via an account, either at a fixed price or with a bid price.

Reliving screens each item in advance and ensures that the images supplied are clearly displayed. If something does not correspond to reality, you get your money back. “This guarantees buyers that they can look for vintage finds and second-hand design gems with confidence. Our platform has the nice look and experience of online shopping and that is how we distinguish ourselves from other players.”
