Young attacks Trump again – this time with his protest song “Big Crime”, in which he denounces fascism, corruption and militarization.
Neil Young has published another protest song against US President Donald Trump. The song “Big Crime” was released on September 4 on all streaming services. Young and his band Chrome Hearts had previously performed the song at the end of August during their sound check for a concert at Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago.

Song against fascism, militarization and violence
In the song, Folkstar Young criticizes Trump’s takeover of the Washington administration and the use of the National Guard. “We do not need fascists / we do not want fascists / we don’t want soldiers on our streets / there are big crimes in DC in the White House,” is in the lyrics. Neil Young also sings: “Get the fascists out / we have to clean in the White House”.

Neil Young on a large US and Canada tour
The Canadian folk musician with American citizenship is currently on the US and Canada tour. On September 4, he will play in Washington, on 6th in Burnaby, Canada, on the 10th in Bend, Oregon, on 12th in Mountain View, California, on 15 and 16 in Los Angeles and on September 20 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In Germany he was already in summer.
