Song against fascism, militarization and violence

In the song, Folkstar Young criticizes Trump’s takeover of the Washington administration and the use of the National Guard. “We do not need fascists / we do not want fascists / we don’t want soldiers on our streets / there are big crimes in DC in the White House,” is in the lyrics. Neil Young also sings: “Get the fascists out / we have to clean in the White House”.

Neil Young’s long tradition of political protest songs

“Big Crime” is not the first protest song Neil Young against Donald Trump. Previously, he had already written pieces such as “Let’s Roll Again” and “if you’Re a fascist, get a tesla”.
