Samat Abish, nephew of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, continues to work in the National Security Committee (KNB), Interfax-Kazakhstan reports with reference to the ministry’s press service.
“The first deputy also works,” – said a spokesman for the press service.
Orda.kz calls its message about the detention of Nazarbayev’s nephew a mistake
On the eve of Orda.kz, citing a source, reported that the son of Nazarbayev’s younger brother had been detained. Later, the publication called the information of its interlocutor erroneous and apologized for the misinformation, citing the work in emergency circumstances as the reason for the publication.
At the same time, the KNB denied the information about the detention of Abish and called the report a provocation.
