NATO is considering deploying a new force in Romania and elsewhere in Southeastern Europe because of the threat from Russia. The alliance is likely to continue that plan if there is no attack on Ukraine, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said. The Netherlands says “always seriously consider whether we can make a contribution”.
