Natasja Froger has been asked to participate in the reality hit Expedition Robinson, in which celebrities play strange games with each other while they are starved. Does she do it or doesn’t she?
Reality programs on television are mainly the domain of B and C stars. The really big stars don’t really need to participate in these kinds of shows, if they have time for it at all. Still, the makers of Expedition Robinson do their best to ensure quality. Natasja Froger, a respected presenter, has also been asked.
Does Natasha do it?
Natasja, the 58-year-old wife of René Froger from the historic fortified town of Brielle, has received a serious request. Her son Maxim is currently on the reality series and now they want his mother too. Will she do it? “No, I was asked for it, but Expedition Robinson is not for me,” she says in the weekly Party.
It is striking: Natasja was severely expelled by RTL 4, but now they want her to suffer on a deserted island. You would almost think that TV boss Peter van der Vorst hates her, but that is of course unthinkable: Natasja wouldn’t hurt a fly.
Neatly slim
Anyway, why doesn’t Natasja want to participate in Robinson? “I may not look like much, I’m always neatly slim, but I can’t live without food, haha. And I can’t forge all kinds of bonds, because you can immediately see that on my face. I’m way too honest for that.”
What does she think about Maxime participating? “I am very proud of Max. As a mother, I found it particularly difficult that I could not text or call him during his participation.”
Never left
Back to her RTL 4 exit: what does she think of that? René has revealed that Natasja had a hard time with this and that she was not treated carefully, but she does not want to say anything about it herself. Doesn’t she want to get her revenge on that disrespectful TV retreat?
Natasja is also trying now downplay: “I understand that you like to write that, but I never left. After my contract ended three years ago, I continued on a project basis and as a freelancer with Five Days Inside and Voor the Same Money at RTL. The television work never stopped.”
Back on television
Yes, that is not the question. Anyway: Natasja will soon appear again at SBS 6, as presenter of Bonje met de Buren. Any disadvantage? She does it together with Dennis van der Geest and he is notorious for his low viewing figures. Hopefully Natasja will be able to correct this somewhat…
