The internal research of the company now shows that there is also fraud in Volendam. In the village, two checks would have been carried out on December 21 and on December 27. But that check of 27 December never took place, while the municipality of Edam-Volendam has received a report on both dates.
“After an earlier in incident, we have examined the files of the past two years with regard to alcohol checks,” explains Richard Schard Scharink of MB-All.
“During this check we discovered an irregularity with regard to the accuracy of one of the reports. This report was drawn up in response to an unauthorized check. Immediately after discovering this irregularity, MB-All contacted the municipality of Edam-Volendam. ”
The municipality of Edam-Volendam has made contact with the relevant hospitality industry on the falsely prepared report and Mayor Sievers announced that this violation will of course not be maintained further.
MB-All says that the employee has been fired with immediate effect. “A mystery shop control is always carried out with two people: the sworn civil servant and the mystery shopper. This is a sworn civil servant who has committed fraud. “
