It has long been no secret that Sinéad O’Connor (55) has a turbulent life. The death of her teenage son is yet another setback for the Irish ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ singer. The boy died on Friday after being missing for several days. It’s a heavy blow to O’Connor, who has already encountered a lot of obstacles on her chunky course. Just think of a difficult childhood full of abuse, a bipolar disorder, riots with the Catholic Church, a fight with Madonna and Miley Cyrus, an ordination to the priesthood and – almost day after day – a conversion to Islam. Everything indicates that her (psychological) problems are not over yet.
